Once again a lovely romcom by Emily James! Just like all her other work, S.W.A.T. has some characters that are fleshed out so well. I love it when sequels pick up where the previous book ended, but then from a different POV. This way you really get to know all about the main characters you normally wouldn’t read any more about.
James did a great job of really merging the stories in the Love in Short book series. In each book the last chapter consists of a kind of preview of the next book. So you already got a sneak preview of S.W.A.T. in O.M.F.G., Operation: My Fake Girlfriend, and I love that! This way you know what to look forward to. And man, I’m already looking forward to reading Y.O.L.O., You Only Love Once – the preview in the epilogue of Sexy With Attitude Too was very promising 😏
