This week it’s time for another #25infive readathon, hosted by @25infive over at Instagram: over the next five days, starting today, I’m going to try to read as much as I possibly can! Unfortunately, I have two quite busy days, but the other three days are still free, so that’s good. Let’s get on with the books I’ll be reading in the coming five days!

Happy last day of 2018! Just like the previous years I have made an overview of my 2018 in books in my reading journal (a different journal than my bullet journal). I’ve made some graphs – yes I’m a nerd – that shows the amount of books and pages I read per month. Now let’s get on with my 2018 as a reader!

Ever since the latest #25infive was announced, I was looking forward to it. This last weekend and today it was time for another readathon, where you try to read for 25 hours over five days. And of course, my body thought it was the perfect time to get ill …

Last Thursday I suddenly remembered that another #25infive readathon had started! It’s a fun readathon that I’m always looking forward to – I hope the next one’s soon!

Last weekend it was time for yet another #8intwo readathon, hosted by @25infive on Instagram. This time I did slightly better than last time and that made me quite proud of myself!

Last weekend it was time for another fun readathon – #8intwo, hosted by @25infive! They started with a readathon where you aimed to read for a total of 25 hours in five days. This time it was a so-called “mini” readathon where you tried to read for a total of eight hours in two days!

Since my last and first update on my progress in the Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge I have read another four books! Because there are 339 books in total on the list, I still have quite some left, but I still wanted to give you guys an update on how I’m faring when it comes to reading the books Rory Gilmore reads in the TV series Gilmore Girls. Fun fact: somehow I still haven’t watched all of the series … I’m not that good at watching series apparently! Without further ado, let’s get on with my progress!

I DID IT! I read a total of 91 books in 2017 and with that I have completed my Goodreads reading challenge! December was full of thin books, but it was also the month with the second highest amount of pages. I have read a total of 12 books in the past month and so I can safely say I had a good reading month! Now, let’s get on with the last wrap up of this year!

Another year has gone by and while Goodreads already gives us readers a good overview of our year in books, I always like to make my own graphs in my reading journal (like last year)! Here I draw the amount of pages and books per month and after that I calculate the average count per month. Yep, besides a bookie I’m also just a big nerd! Now, let’s take a look at my 2017 as a reader!

After seeing and reading a lot about the TV show called Gilmore Girls on bookstagram, I recently fell in love with the cozy show myself. I love the characters and the fact that Rory is an avid reader, like myself. I’ve seen people talking about this reading challenge inspired by the books that are featured in the show. It consists of a total of 339 books (!) and I’ve made it a personal goal to eventually read all the books on this list, mostly because a lot of the books on there are books that have been on my TBR for a long time or because I feel like I just have to read them someday.
