5 ecological products you need if you want to save the planet

Processed with MOLDIV

Today I want to talk to you guys about how we can do better when it comes to saving the nature, fauna and climate as we know it. It’s one of the things that was prominent in my upbringing and it’s still a big passion of mine. The products I’m discussing I have all bought with my own money, so none of this is sponsored. I just wanted to give you some tips on reusable products that you might not have thought of yourself yet! Note: I’m not a scientist, nor perfect in my journey to living life with less waste, so these are just all the things I’ve seen coming by and wanted to try myself!

Let’s get on with the products! 👉🏼

A full year with my first bullet journal

Processed with MOLDIV

For my 23rd birthday, last January, I got a beginners kit to start your own bullet journal by MUS creatief from my mom and her partner. I was super excited to start and to see what I could make of it. I’ve tried to keep a bullet journal before, but I let my perfectionism predominate. Add to that that keeping a bullet journal became yet another bullet on my to-do list and eventually I just quit altogether. This time, however, it was all different and I tried to let go of my perfectionism and just go with it. Above you can already see a bit of the eventual result, but I will show you some more pics of some lists I (used to) keep and how it all began 😏

4 reasons why I’m currently on a (long) book buying ban

2018-02-18 15.13.44

Lately I have noticed a big change in my book buying habit. Where I previously bought any book I thought I might like, I haven’t bought any books in 2018 so far. 2018-01-13 13.24.25

Yesterday Pieter and I, once again, went to IKEA. And, once again, we ended up buying more than we actually needed to. I had in mind to only buy a pen holder and a box to put in all my other stationery, but I walked out of the store with a board and other equipment to organise my desk. Above you can see the final result and although I spent money I didn’t actually have, I’m very happy with my purchase!

Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge || Update #1

2017-09-15 12.03.59

After seeing and reading a lot about the TV show called Gilmore Girls on bookstagram, I recently fell in love with the cozy show myself. I love the characters and the fact that Rory is an avid reader, like myself. I’ve seen people talking about this reading challenge inspired by the books that are featured in the show. It consists of a total of 339 books (!) and I’ve made it a personal goal to eventually read all the books on this list, mostly because a lot of the books on there are books that have been on my TBR for a long time or because I feel like I just have to read them someday.

5 tips to read more books

2017-08-28 09.47.17.jpg

Before I started studying Literature I was in a huge reading slump. I was too busy with being a teenager and finding myself that I didn’t have any time left to read. Besides that I never thought that reading and books could be a passion, so I kind of abandoned it. Today I want to share five tips on how to make and find time in your day to read! I had already made a post about this in 2016, but that was in Dutch and I wouldn’t want to keep my tips from my English speaking followers! Here it goes!
