January wrap up!

January wrap up

In January I managed to read 10 (!) books, but I’ll only mention 9 here (I’ll explain why later). Isn’t this the greatest start of my Goodreads Reading Challenge of 95 books?!

Recently, I was asked to join a panel for a book publisher in the Netherlands. The books I read for that are highly secret, because they aren’t yet released here. So, that’s why I’ll only mention 9 out of the 10 books I’ve read in the month of January. This will be the case for more of my wrap ups in the future!

Now, onto my wrap up!

  1. All of You – Lindsay Detwiler – 200 pages: 4.75/5 ★
  2. The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4 – Sue Townsend – 158 pages: 3.5/5 ★
  3. The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole – Sue Townsend – 159 pages: 4.25/5 ★
  4. Mijn Bullet Journal Crash Course – Mus Creatief – 143 pages: 5/5 ★
  5. Wicked Me – Lindsey Loucks – 414 pages: 5/5 ★
  6. Three Weeks Dead – Rebecca Bradley – 81 pages: 4.5/5 ★
  7. MASHED – Grivante and others – 155 pages: 1.5/5 ★
  8. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – J.K. Rowling – 326 pages: 5/5 ★
  9. Wuthering Heights – Emily Brontë – 367 pages: [rating and review to come]

My favourite reads of January were the two first books of the Adrian Mole series, my reread of Harry Potter and Wuthering Heights. I’m really glad I got to kick off this year in a good way – now I’m more confident that I’ll actually reach my reading goal of 95 books at the end of 2018!

What was your favourite read of January?
