December wrap up!

2017-08-03 12.38.08

I DID IT! I read a total of 91 books in 2017 and with that I have completed my Goodreads reading challenge! December was full of thin books, but it was also the month with the second highest amount of pages. I have read a total of 12 books in the past month and so I can safely say I had a good reading month! Now, let’s get on with the last wrap up of this year!

  1. Eorthe – Noor Ashour – 94 pages: 1/5 ★
  2. Tobacco Sun – Lorna Hollifield – 223 pages: 5/5
  3. De Cock en de wurger op zondag – Baantjer – 100 pages: 4/5
  4. Strungballs – Mike Russell – 66 pages: 4/5
  5. The Mother Earth Insurgency – J.G. Follansbee – 65 pages: 4/5
  6. NOS4A2 – Joe Hill – 720 pages: 5/5
  7. Thin Air – Michelle Paver – 232 pages: 4/5
  8. Let it Snow – John Green, Maureen Johnson & Lauren Myracle – 354 pages: 2.5/5
  9. Murder on the Orient Express – Agatha Christie – 274 pages: 4.75/5
  10. The Silver Swan – Amo Jones – 261 pages: 2.5/5 ★
  11. A Christmas Carol – Charles Dickens – 94 pages: 5/5 ★
  12. Act One, Scene One – Murder – A.H. Richardson – 278 pages: 4/5 ★ [review to come]
  13. Skipping Christmas – John Grisham – 177 pages: 4.5/5 ★ [review to come]

Yep, December was definitely a good reading month for me! I have read a lot of wintery tales, but also a couple of ARC’s which I loved. My favourite read of the month was NOS4A2 by Joe Hill, for sure, and I’m really looking forward to read more books by him!

Let’s hope January is also filled with a lot of books!

What was your favourite read of December?

I wish you all a good (and safe!) New Year’s eve tonight! Have fun!

  1. Congratulations on your achievements for the month and the year! Such a good reading month. My favourite read of the month was probably The Tattooist of Auschwitz, by Heather Morris. Incredibly moving and insanely beautiful. Good luck for your 2018 reading!

      1. It’s beautiful. If you like historical fiction you should definitely give it a read when it comes out this month
