Recently, I’ve not been very good at completing my monthly TBR’s and this month is no exception. I’ve only finished five of the seven books I put in my October TBR, but I’ve read (almost) seven books in total! The coming two months, I really have to read more if I want to reach my goal of 90 books on Goodreads!
In October I’ve read:
- The Everett Exorcism – Lincoln Cole – 228 pages: 4.5/5 ★
- Zodiac – Robert Graysmith – 325 pages: 5/5 ★
- Darkly Dreaming Dexter – Jeff Lindsay – 275 pages: 4.75/5 ★
- An American Cage – Ted Galdi – 297 pages: 4.5/5 ★
- Carbon Run – J.G. Follansbee – 338 pages: 2.75/5 ★
- Pet Sematary – Stephen King – 465 pages: 5/5 ★
- Jane of Manchester – J.G. Dow – 191 pages: [rating and review to come]
If I manage to finish Jane of Manchester today (which mustn’t be that hard), I’ll “only” have to read nine books per month, in order to finish my reading goal! Fingers crossed!
My favorite read this month was The Wrong Stars by Tim Pratt. How was the Zodiac?

I really liked the Zodiac and it definitely makes me want to read more true crime! You can find a full review over here https://romireads.com/2017/10/09/zodiac-by-robert-graysmith-review/#more-8713
