I’ve been rather busy with university work lately, which asks for a motivational reward every now and then. So, today I have several items to show you guys!
The Complete Grimm’s Fairy Tales
Friday, the one before last, I had to give a presentation for uni and I was slightly nervous (let’s replace ‘slightly’ with ‘nervewreckingly’). It went okay, but I was mostly just happy about the fact that it was over. So, after class Pieter and I went to Amsterdam and ended up in Waterstones. It. Was. Amazing. The shop is SO big and it’s all filled up with English books, so we spent quite some time there. We adored the clothed hardbacks and eventually chose to buy this gem: The Complete Grimm’s Fairy Tales. It’s so very gorgeous and it has lovely illustrations by Arthur Rackham in it! It was definitely worth the money!
A while ago I took part in a giveaway hosted by Fairyloot, and as you may already know … I WON! The prize was the November Fairyloot box and a $50,- voucher from Society 6. A couple of weeks ago I finally spent it on two bookish pillows, one with the Deathly Hallows symbol and one with a lovely painting of a Hobbit home, and a gorgeous mug with a ‘Currently Reading’ otter on it by Liza (@bookotter on instagram!). Aren’t they cuuuute?!
Yesterday I went interior shopping with my little sister and my Dad. And of course I couldn’t resist buying this cute ‘cozy.’ mug, for only 3 euro!! I’ve seen similar mugs on instagram several times, so I was so happy when I saw this one at the Dutch home store ‘Woonexpress’. The colour is perfect, the font is so cute, and I’m in love with the word ‘cozy’, so it’s literally THE perfect mug for me.
