Meet the Bookstagrammer Tag

I got tagged on instagram to do the #meetthebookstagrammer tag by a couple of people, and I thought it would be fun to do it on here as well! So, here it goes!

Where in the world are you from?
I’m from Zwolle, the Netherlands!

When did you start your bookstagram account?
Around 15 March 2016. So my bookstagram is almost a year old!

Would you rather be an author or a publisher?
Author! (you can read a little more about that in one of my January bookhauls!)

Do you prefer standalones or series?
Hmmmm, I like the commitment to a good series. Most of the time you really get to know the characters in series, which I really like!

Which author has been your biggest inspiration?
Stephen King!

Where in the world do you wish to travel most?
I think Scandanavia and Iceland! But also North America.

Cats or dogs?

What’s your favourite movie?
I’m not really a ‘movie person’, so this is a hard question … I can’t really come up with one at the moment, so I’ll say just any romantic comedy and then especially the British ones.

If you got stuck on an island, which three books would you want to be stuck with?
Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov/Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J. K. Rowling
Misery by Stephen King
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Feel free to answer these questions on your own blog/bookstagram!

  1. It’s so cool that you’re from the Netherlands! (I’m sure you get that a lot, though, XD)

I’m the opposite of you when it comes to series – I’m definitely a standalone girl. Committing to an entire series is just way too stressful for me, lmao.

OKAY I’M NOT REALLY A HUGE FAN OF NORTH AMERICA BUT I WILL TELL YOU THAT NEW ORLEANS AND QUEBEC ARE PRETTY COOL. There’s also a huge variety of lovely outdoor scenery, if you’re an outdoorsy person.

Lolita is a book I’ve been thinking of reading! The Fellowship of the Ring would definitely be one of my books 🙂

    1. Haha I get that a lot indeed, but most of the time the people only visited Amsterdam, while there’s so much more to see in the Netherlands! And I’d mostly visit North Americ for the nature and scenery, although it’d be awesome to visit New York!
