Fairyloot Bookbox Unboxing

I believe it was in September that I took part in a giveaway on instagram. With it you could win the Fairyloot November bookbox and $50,- on Society 6. AND GUESS WHO WON?! YES, I DID! My IGname got picked out of the about 1,000 (if not more) people who participated! Yesterday was the day my bookbox arrived and I opened it right away. Beneath you can find the contents and a bit more about the Fairyloot bookbox!

FAIRYLOOT IS A BOX OF BOOKISH TREASURE
STOLEN STRAIGHT FROM A FAIRY’S LAIR

Well, sort of. It’s actually a fantasy focused monthly subscription box containing a Young Adult book and some hand selected bookish goodies.
Our main focus is on fantasy, but we like to include other themes too.

We are based in London 🇬🇧  and we ship worldwide.

You can find more information on their website, but also their instagram!

November – Royals and Rogues!
The theme of November was Royals and Rogues, with designs and products inspired by books like ACOTAR/ACOMAF, The Wrath and the Dawn, the Throne of Glass series, Red Queen etc. I have to admit that I’ve only read ACOTAR/ACOMAF so far, oops! Nevertheless, I just LOVED the insides of this month’s box!

The first thing I saw was a box and my happiness was real when I opened it. Inside I found a mug with a design that says “Queen of Books” (by Read At Midnight) and I already know that I’m going to enjoy a lot of coffees and teas with this one.

And as if that wasn’t enough to satisfy my coffee, tea and mug addiction, I also found a tea from The Tea Leaf Company (you can find their instagram over here). I already like the package, so the insides can only be good right? Can’t wait to try it! They also included 10 tea filters in case you don’t own a strainer. So considerate!

The next thing I found was this cute tiny notepad that says “Queen of Terrasen” (by alexislampley), inspired by the Throne of Glass series. It really makes me want to start this series any time soon! I’ve heard so much good about it!

These are some designs by Bookotter and Lovelyowlsbooks and I think I’m going to put them on my walls any time soon! (although I haven’t read the books yet, I believe they are Red Queen and Wolf by Wolf?)

This looks like a button, but it actually is a pocket mirror (by Bookwormboutique)! It says “My queen is without limitations, boundless in all that she does” and it’s inspired by The Wrath and the Dawn!

The last goodie is a totebag inspired by ACOMAF! YES, I LOVE IT! I was really curious about the ACOTAR/ACOMAF goodie(s), and I’m not disappointed. Not at all! I absolutely love tote bags and this one is not too big, nor too small! In one word PERFECT! It says “That I will bow before no one and nothing but my crown”, so that also sounds independent right. Just what I want people to think I am hah!

And last but certainly not least: the book! It’s Nemesis by Anna Banks, also known from the books The Syrena Legacy series and a lot more YA books. Nemesis sounds really promising and I can’t wait to dive right into it!

Princess Sepora of Serubel is the last Forger in all the five kingdoms. The spectorium she creates provides energy for all, but now her father has found a way to weaponize it, and his intentions to incite war force her to flee his grasp. She escapes across enemy lines into the kingdom of Theoria, but her plans to hide are thwarted when she is captured and placed in the young king’s servitude.

Tarik has just taken over rulership of Theoria, and must now face a new plague sweeping through his kingdom and killing his citizens. The last thing he needs is a troublesome servant vying for his attention. But Mistress Sepora will not be ignored. When the two finally meet face-to-face, they form an unlikely bond that complicates life in ways neither of them could have imagined.

Sepora’s gift may be able to save Tarik’s kingdom. But should she risk exposing herself and her growing feelings for her nemesis?

The book came together with a bookmark, a signed plate, a sketch of a man-eating mermaid and a letter from the author! Another goodie (I almost forgot) was a crystal soap by Craftyragamuffin, inspired by the book! At first I thought that it was a bathbomb, and that would’ve been a bummer since I don’t own a bath *sobbing*. But it wasn’t, so there wasn’t ANY sobbing involved in the unboxing of this month’s Fairyloot bookbox!!

Fairyloot, thank you soso much again for organizing the giveaway and sending your magical bookbox to me! I can’t wait to use all of the goodies and read the book!

  1. Oh my gosh, that mug and totebag! Now I kinda wish I had gotten the November box 😀 I have ordered the December FairyLoot. It’ll be my first ever subscription box so I’m super excited. It’s actually a present from my dad for my birthday Dec 16th. Can’t wait!
